me: 54/5'11"/175lb/level 9 skier

at targhee there was no new - just a lot of cut-up stuff with a few sun cookies here and there and a few small to medium sized bumps. these things are relatively light and very easy to pivot. i found them extremely relaxing.

in the backcountry i was led to a bowl by my guide - a secret stash of slightly settled knee-deep smoke. wow - beautiful feel, very easy to vary turn radius. very nimble in the ski-out down thru trees and a tight gully. (btw.........this was the most delicious snow i have ever skied)

the 'goats' are just OK on the groomed - too wide (105mm), too flexible, and relatively zero what if they don't rail like my b5's - that's not why i got them

i had a friend tell me to get the 183 instead of the 176, but am very content both performance-wise and weight-wise (esp. for AT) with the 176

and yes..........i do like the minimal black paint job on them
