ask price etc.

brake is 80mm

To all those offering $20, here's a reality check: get real.
I mean, some ski socks are $20. Why waste your own time offering a ridiculous lowball?
These are brand new, good bindings. $20 is not realisitic.
Am looking for $100

Because Steep and Cheap had them for under $50. You'll never see $100 for these.

So what you meant was not actually best offer but best offer over $100? :

Hmm...

Exactly... and I've seen them elsewhere for $50 also. If you're expecting $100, then you should probably put them on Ebay and advertise them as 912's.

Harry Dunn: false advertising = fraud. I don't know about you but I wouldn't do that

I was hoping for $100 OR best offer, which is line for what I paid and *maybe* a six pack.
When I get ppl who offer $20 it isn't worth my time going to the post office.
It's insulting really, like if you post $500 or best offer for some nice skis, and I say how bout $50? WTF is that?

Also, if you see them *currently* for $50 +/- somewhere, by all means post the link as a PSA for everyone!

The bindings cost me $50 and change, + Int'l shipping, + duties/taxes = a bit more than $20.

These have been sold

Hey CanadaSteep, check out the post a few above mine from bjohanson. He said on Steep and Cheap they were $50. There's your proof right there.

And about the false advertising... I wouldn't do that either. I was simply suggesting that the only way you'd get $100 for them is to put them for sale as 912's. Oh well, someone got ripped off.

Bjohansson: they were $51 + shipping + taxes.

Harry: Read what you wrote. You implied if I wanted $100 I'd have to commit fraud by selling S810's as 912's.
It's clear. You changed your tune and that's called you backpedalling.

Do you know the difference between price and total cost?
Some guy got a free car from Oprah and was pissed because he had to pay taxes on it.

Also, you conveniently ignored the fact that the S810's cost me $50 and change PLUS shipping (to Canada which ain't cheap) PLUS I got dinged with duties. SO that's a little bit more than $50. Yes or no?
I was only hoping to recover what I spent on them.
So $100 or best offer was fair, since I have to pay to ship them out.
I never disclosed what I sold them for, so there is no basis for you to declare someone was "ripped off".
Whatever you deem is fair or not is strictly your opinion-which you are of course entitled to-but doesn't mean
you have to try and get a "last word" in because that's in bad taste.

Lowballing by offering $20 for something that you and others know cost $50 and shipping taxes
illustrates my point to the max: unneccessary lowballing and time wasting.
Why wouldn't you offer the SAC price and shipping? That's totally fair.
Plus there's no motivation for me to take a big loss. I could have just sat on them. They wouldn't go bad.

I don't like to draw lines in the sand, but when I'm faced with ridiculous points,
I have to scream out like Vince Vaughn in Wedding Crashers: "ERRONEOUS! ERRONEOUS"!

In the future please don't make offers that we all know are lowballs, it just wastes everyone's time.
BTW, I type 80 WPM so this didn't take long :-P
Try lowballing 30K off the sticker price of a Mercedes and you'ld be laughed at, so don't do it here.
Or anywhere. I mean really, grow up. I'm a "punk kid" and I know better.

Any more posts = beating a dead horse

Heh. One point: why on earth would I offer you what you paid for them, when you don't want them anymore? I could have gotten them myself for that price. The point of this board is to give people good DEALS. A good deal is (in most cases) less than what you paid for them.

Plus, I happen to already have a pair of those bindings and don't really need anymore. Since no one was interested in your great "deal" before I posted, I thought I would get the ball rolling for you. Hey, you should thank me for getting your shitty post back up to the top.

Finally, I'd like to congratulate you on typing 80 words per minute. You must have gotten an A in your high school typing class.

I thought the "shitty" post came from you, Dunn.
And the $50 deal from SaD was a few weeks ago,
not anytime recent.

You guys need to pull the poles out of your a$$ and turn up your sarcasm meters. Holy shit.
