Bjohansson: they were $51 + shipping + taxes.
Harry: Read what you wrote. You implied if I wanted $100 I'd have to commit fraud by selling S810's as 912's.
It's clear. You changed your tune and that's called you backpedalling.
Do you know the difference between price and total cost?
Some guy got a free car from Oprah and was pissed because he had to pay taxes on it.
Also, you conveniently
ignored the fact that the S810's cost me $50 and change PLUS shipping (to Canada which ain't cheap) PLUS I got dinged with duties. SO that's a little bit more than $50. Yes or no?
I was only hoping to recover what I spent on them.
So $100 or best offer
was fair, since I have to pay to ship them out.
I never disclosed what I sold them for, so there is no basis for you to declare someone was "ripped off".
Whatever you deem is fair or not is strictly your opinion-which you are of course entitled to-but doesn't mean
you have to try and get a "last word" in because that's in bad taste.
Lowballing by offering $20 for something that you and others know cost $50 and shipping taxes
illustrates my point to the max: unneccessary lowballing and time wasting.
Why wouldn't you offer the SAC price and shipping? That's totally fair.
Plus there's no motivation for me to take a big loss. I could have just sat on them. They wouldn't go bad.
I don't like to draw lines in the sand, but when I'm faced with ridiculous points,
I have to scream out like Vince Vaughn in Wedding Crashers: "ERRONEOUS! ERRONEOUS"!
In the future please don't make offers that we all know are lowballs, it just wastes everyone's time.
BTW, I type 80 WPM so this didn't take long :-P
Try lowballing 30K off the sticker price of a Mercedes and you'ld be laughed at, so don't do it here.
Or anywhere. I mean really, grow up. I'm a "punk kid" and I know better.
