If I'm going straight at moderate speed & I look down & see my left ski is pointing slightly inward, could this be a boot alignment problem?

Possibly an habitual stance?

When I was in therapy recovering from reattachment of an Achilles tendon, they had me walk on a treadmill that was lined with mirrors so that I could watch that I kept my feet pointing forward (best alignment for the tendons, they said). I had a habit of allowing the toes to point outward slightly on both feet. The therapy initially caused a slight irritation of my knees, but I think overall, the correction improved my gait.
