I skied hard yesterday and the groomed runs (that's all we have) were fabulous: powder! Practiced carving on my Volkl V3's, and ran big turns down Sugar Slalom on my 178 Dynastar Speed Carves. Slopes are not crowded on the weekdays, so you can get in those fast turns if you hit the lifts early. Cycle was this: 1.75 hours skiing+ one beer X 3. By the afternoon my legs were noodles. FYI base At Sugar is 40 to 82 inches.
