Red Mountain - BC

Help/Advice. Thinking about going to Red Mt. Question, we have 2 advanced/experts and 2 mid/intermediates (groomers). Is the skiing good for the intermediates for 2 days of skiing. Also lodging for 4 - we don't want to spend a fortune for 2 days of skiing? I've never been there so any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks-Pete-getting cold again

When I went to Red Mountain 3 years ago we stayed at the Red Mountain Motel which is ski in/walk out....its a 10 minute walk back to the ski area. The motel is dated but it was clean and did provide a small kitchen area. I can't remember the rates but they were very reasonable when you included lift tickets in the package.

Red offers a great variety of advance terrain. The intermediate terrain is somewhat lacking. Their basic blue run is a black run that is groomed. As long as the intermediates in your group can handle mogul free steeper terrain they should be fine.
