Lisa MArie, don't know you but have really enjoyed your posts and have really empathized wiht the ACL recovery. My ex had that and it was brutal.
On this, am so very sorry you are having these symptoms and am really glad you are aggressively on this medically speaking. It does sound a little bit like TIA (transient ischemic attack) and I would not rest until I was very satisfied with what the docs were doing and had told me. I think second opinions, etc are an excellent idea. For my medical stuff, I have had really good luck with the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ. Yeah, they are pricey but at the end of the day, I could care less. I have my health back and as others have noted, payments are just payments
and if it is as serious as you are gathering, I would want the best I could get looking at the brain.
Really, although anything is possible and only a moron would diagnose anything over the internet, it does not sound like a stress reaction- not the intense pain and confusion. Many people have been told angina is "just stress" but were glad when they checked it further and found out what the real issue was.
If it were me, I probably would put alaska on hold until I was totally sure what was going on, got all the opinions I needed, but that's just me and I completely understand the perspective of "carpe diem" (seize the day!)
Anyway, glad you are taking good care of yourself and have so much support! Please keep us posted!
Best wishes for a very speedy recovery!!
