Should I swap the CP13 plate to VIST on my new Head iRace GS?

I just bought a pair of 177cm Head iRace GS skis. They are fitted with the 13mm CP13 plate. Would it be difficult to swap them for the more rigid 16mm VIST Racing plates used on RD skis?

Im going to be using them on local master GS competitions and feel the CP13 is a bit flimsy for heavy racing use.

Swapping the plates isn't difficult. It will definetly be different holes, but so what. The VIST is way better.

Vist makes lots of plates. You don't have to go with the super-burly one on the RD-there are alot of plates that are suitable for lighter and less powerful skiers that Vist offers. The CP13 is a great plate for a less skilled skier and a superb free-ski plate, but a little soft underfoot for a dedicated race ski.

The reason Im biassed towards the VIST racing plate is because I have spare ones sitting on old GS skis. In exess to the screws they are also glued or attached with adhersive tape to the skis. Do I need some special tape or glue for attaching them to the skis?
