What's a snow storm??

every picture tells a story, don't it

from one of my gothamized sources:

I just skied Mad River this morning and actually met another Epic member Bushwacker and he joined us for some sweet tree skiing. They had what seemed like 4 or 5 inches of fresh at the top of the mountain. I noticed throughout the day people were buzzing about the storm coming. I would say if northern vermont gets 6+ it would be sweet since they have been getting a little here and a little there. Southern needs it more. We can only hope either way.

Latest report From the National Weather Service is from a dusting up to 2 feet. From NJ to Canada, maybe or maybe not.

Argh... now they're saying 12-16 inches here in NJ, and only 3-5 in the Catskills.

Regardless, I'm heading up tomorrow morning.

Sad to say, but it looks like Mountain Creek is the place to be tomorrow. I was hoping for a trip to Plattekill, but not much expected.

We've got 12" here in central NJ and it still snowing steadily. It is nice, fluffy snow. Too bad I can't get to the hills today. I'm drooling.

Are you getting pounded in the east like they say on the news?
They are saying that all of the east coast is going to get a minimum of 6 inches and most areas will get 2 feet.

Looks like the Catskills will get 6 to 8 inches by Monday. Hunter it is. Just got back from Vail. Didn't get a lot of snow but the place was amazing. Skied eastern hardpack the last day, freezing cold. Looks like I brought some with me. Sledding was fun today with the niece and nephew.

So.Vt

My favorite snow fall predictions are the ones that come after the clouds have cleared.

Mt. snow

5 inches light and dry.

Skiing nicely, better hurry 'cause it's supposed to warm up by Thursday :-(

I can hardly believe it.
Central park gets over 2 feet, where they don't even appreciate it and you got nothing??????:
That's just not fair.

BEAT YOU!!! We got a whopping 1.4 inch here in Central New Hampster.:

This is really starting to get depressing. In my yard I'm looking at green instead of 1 to 3 feet of snow as per usual. I can hardly wait for the next glaciation phase to start!!!!!!!!!!!

That is how I felt. I was all excited and thought I was going to be able to bust the sled back out and start heading to gore on good trail conditions again. Nope not a chance. Darn winter!

Newfydog came to NYC to see the Westminster dog show. Two feet of powder here....makes it easy to get into shows and restaurants. Nice to be here for the all time record dump. I think the other Newfy's were pleased as well. Deep enough to bury those rat dogs.
