I had the Hart F17 Bump skis in the early 90's. I loved em. I blew out the sidewall and they gave me a brand new pair, the new pair were capped, first capped ski I had seen....

not that this will help......I skied Hart 210cm Jubilees and Javalins in the 70's and never had a problem with them. Damn I loved those big blue GS skis.

Hart Sighting.

I was watching some womens moguls event last weekend. Not exactly sure where it was, but think it was in the US. Anyway, when one of the women got the botom and held her skis up I swear it said Hart on the bottom? I thought they were out of the business.

Remember Suzy Chaffey on Hart skis? I had a pair of Hart Javelins 205's, with Lange comp boots (the yellow liner), in 1970. Hottest equipment on the mountain!

Hart is trying to make a come back. Here is a link to their site. http://www.hartskis.com/dev/central/index.html##

I can only say that the site has not changed a lick since I first looked at it more than a year ago. Maybe someone who was at the show in Las Vegas knows if they had a presence there?

I still have a pair of F-17 Bump skis. The bindings have already been remounted once, and I'm considering remounting them again, great bump skis.

I emailed the contact person from the website about a year or so ago and they replied saying that they were planning on releasing new models soon, but I have not heard anything since.

I skied Hart skis last time in the early 90s. They made a great black and neon number that was totally 80s.

That is Kästle. And who are you calling OLD Used to ski the Kästle Grand Prix GS and Special issued to instructors and ski patrol....in the 70s.
BTW, I'll still ski with you young ones if you can keep up.

kaestle

well, they had a small booth at ispo.

the skis seemed to be produced by blizzard or pale, the race skis (sandwich-sidewall) said made in czechya on it. all with vist plates and bindings.

the company adress was italian, the guys at the booth also italians, mafioso style. there were powerboat posters all over the place, strange.

looked more like a quick shot to me, the graphics were horrible and there was hardly anyone visiting the booth. bad luck for a actually still cool brand.

The skis at ISPO were presented by the Oxford Leisure Group importers/distributors and were made in Italy by Blossom- essentially the same skis as Nordicas Dobermann series. They use high end VIST bindings and the skis are *VERY* nice.
The graphics selected by Oxford seem different than what is on the site.
They also won a silver with the finn in the freestyles, along with the Gold they won with Jenn Heil.
Those F17's were made in China for HART by Japana as I understand it.

Oh, and they just completed a funding roundd and will have twin tips, freestyle and race skis next year (06/07).
You can preorder in June direct from them.
