Vail Condo Insight Needed

Thread Starter
I am trying to choose between a just renovated condo at All Seasons (across from Golden Peak lift) or a Vantage Point condo (Lionshead).

I want to be able to walk to shopping, dining, and partying. However, the most important element is being close to a lift.

Based on above criteria, which way would you go?

I would love any input from all Vail brains!

All Seasons

if you want the high end shopping, that is in the village not lionshead. the village is a short walk from all seasons.

vantage point is a reasonable walk to the gondola and from the top you can drop into game creek (can get long lift lines by 10:00) on the sun bowls. lionshead is undergoing massive reonvation with a very large construction site.

all seasons is a sort walk to the lift which, with one connection will get you to the top where you can drop into china bowl, blue sky etc. also if you have small childern it is right next to the kids ski school

my personal preference would be all seasons, altho i suspect that vantage point is cheaper.

have fun.

I'd vote for All Seasons. The lift up from Golden Peak is very convenient. Just a long ride, then a short one, and it's all back bowls from there. The facilities at Golden Peak are also very nice, though small. Ski School desk, little shop, quite nice restaurant, great little gourmet shop/coffee counter, snowshoe rentals, and the Kids' ski school and childcare.

It's a shorter walk from Golden Peak into the Village than from Lionshead, and Lionshead is kind of a nightmare this winter, what with the billion dollars worth of construction going on.

Have an awesome trip. I am very fond of Vail, so always glad to hear of folks getting to ski those bowls!
