HEADEM UP AND MOVEM OUT ESA or BUST

KEEP ROLLIN ROLLIN ROLLIN, KEEP THEM WHEELS ROLLIN.

As we look in on our travelers, they seem to be coming from all over the globe. From accross the Pond, from Down Under, from the land of OZ. Many with the sun at their backs, some with the sun in their eyes. Crossing the Great Plains and the Great Divide. Climbing the Sierras, the Rockies, the Cascades, and many other ranges yet unknown. They will travel by boat, car, truck air, wagon and maybe horseback. Challenging the elements, the cost of gas, the black and whites, etc blah blah blah. Oh and all with one goal in sight! ESA here we come. Faster than a speeding turtle (climbing mountains in a 4 cyl 4 runner is just faster!), higher than the soaring eagle. THEY COME. Best wishes and safe journey to all the travelers. See you at Snowbird!

My boots are packed
I'm getting ready to go
Should I pack three shirts, or maybe four?
I hate to bring too few up to Snowbird
But the dawn is breakin’
It’s early morn
The snow's fallin
It’s blowin’ in a storm
Already I’m so happy
I could cry

Snow for me so deep for me
Tell me powder's waiting for me
Beer me like you’ve never beered before
Cause I’m leavin’ on a jet plane
Going to the ESA again
Oh babe, I can't wait to go...

from today's weather report for LCC:
Mid and upper level low will move east of state this morning. In its wake will be weak ridging for this afternoon but next system will start affecting the area by this evening. Several distrubances are expected to be associated with this next trough that will affect the region through early Sunday. The accumulative effect of these disturbances should produce 10-20 inches by Sunday morning.

I'm going to Utah...I've loaded a push cart!

This packing thing is SICK. If you're driving, there's always room for ONE more thing. If anyone's interested in setting up a remote arctic outpost after ESA, I should have everything we need!

Yes, I'm mounting the dish to my helmet right now ..

I am bringing a BFDSLR (Big Fat Digital SLR) camera with a BF lens. I don't know how much use I'll get out of it, though. Generally, it's either get on the hill to take pictures OR get on the hill to ski. Hopefully I can contribute something to the ESA media outlet.

We'll take all the input in video and stills that we can get. We've got a spindle of DVDs to write it to for later editing and redistribution. Keep watching...
