|Oh, Oh... that reminded me...Saw a pair of Fisher RC4's with N77's. These were the Fishers that had the double sidecut, it had a bulge at the waste of the ski for better edge hold. Scary stuff.
I had a pair of those Fischer "dual radius" RC4 SL'Super Form's. They were metallic blue with dark blue stripes and yellow painted on the sidewall where the bulge was. I finally threw them away this past summer. Maybe someone recued them from the dumpster
Perhaps it is due to poor snow conditions at some areas in the PNW this season but I still see a lot of retro skis on the slopes. So far, a Hexel, several Kastle's, an Olin Mark IV, a couple of Rossi Strato's, RC4's and of course a lot of vintage K2's. It is interesting that many of their owners use them to very good effect while a lot of skiers on new equipment are struggling to reap their benifits.
