Attention ESA Photographers

I'm looking to put together a slide show to be projected on Thursday night at the banquet, probably just run it continuously when video isn't being projected or other items demand our attention... I'm not going to shoot enough images by myself so this is the call for help.

If you're bringing a digital camera, I'll be able to take pictures to my laptop via compact flash media...smart media...four-pin firewire or USB cable (if you have your cables). I'll have templates ready for a slide show so the only thing that will take me any time is picking throught the donated images.

I'll bring my laptop to the 8:00 PM programs on Tuesday and Wednesday and can accept donated files following the presentations and I can do likewise at the beginning of the banquet.

I shouldn't be hard to find. Please consider contributing pictures if you're bringing your camera.

Thanks

Bags are packed and in the car - along w/ lap top and camera.

But I didn't think to pack the cable or a flashdrive:.

If I get finished w/ rounds in the AM with enough time to drive home first before going to the airport, I'll pick that stuff up. If not - oh well.

FRAU, I have a Zio! Compact Flash adapter packed with my schtuff. If your camera uses a standard Compact Flash disc we should be set. I'll throw in some discs so if we want to sort through and burn a few for jstraw we can.

Alas, my stuff is older and may not be compatible. It is my old student laptop, and doesn't even have a CD burner, which is why I figured I'd need the flashdrive - can't fit enough on a floppy. Gotta upload from the camera to the laptop, then copy to flashdrive to give to Jstraw.

My camera is pretty old, too, and uses the old square compact flash cards. That's the drive I have.

Assuming that your 'puter has USB ports?

I'm betting I can make use of what you all have, if you offer it up.
