Is your husband going to be there?
How deep you sink in powder depends on how fast you ski it and how fat your skis are.
Skiing deep powder isn't that hard but takes a few tips and alot of trials.
Once you get the hang of it, it's like riding a bike, you never forget how.
The chance of skiing untracked deep powder of the Imperial chair are very slim. Unless you are first in line at the super chair and the Imperial Chair. Women spend too much time doing their hair in the morning, even a powder day.
Great..makes me more at ease!!! Yes, my husband is going to be there and he skis anything (he skied Lone Peak down thru the chutes last year at Big Sky and hiked to the top of Peak 7 at Breck two years ago and skied Y chutes) and has skied since he was 4. I have been skiing 8.5 years, but avg around 10-12 days a year.
I have Salomon Xcreams and they are great skis, but not that wide..as you know. I am probably going to demo some Lotta Luvs this year. Would they be alright to do it in? I was on my Salomons in Horseshoe Bowl and took my time and had fun there.
