Can I use Nordic Wax (not kick wax) for Alpine skis?

Another question for the savvy bears out there. The only wax I have on hand is swix cross-country ski wax. My wife and I do the skating motion. Does anybody know if I can use this wax on my downhill skis as long as we get the temperature range correct?

The wax I have is swix low fluorocarbon (LF12) performance racing wax. The coldest rated option is 25 degrees to 14 degrees fahrenheit.

Anybody know?
