Yes Hollywood has arrived in Utah. Park City is packed! The traffic is in near grid lock. The Hotels,Motels, Condos and Time scares I mean Time Shares are all booked. But the mountains are empty. Movie Stars, Producers, Directors , Wannabees and The a cast of thousands! It's all here in all it's weirdness. The strangest thing I have seen all day Go Go Dancers dancing on top a Humvee on Main St. Oh and stay tuned for a TV series called Aspen! I can't wait!

Hey Utah, have you heard of any BIG names being invited to perform at Private parties. A few years ago when i was still there, Mick Jager was in town to promote a film as well as play at one of the after hrs parties. Steven Tyler of Aerosmith was reported also to be in that same year.
But most importanly, we want to hear about your close encounters with dumb and stupids, er the rich and famous. You have been made the officai reporter
Hope you survive another year of P I B S

Yes indeed, Sundance is here. Used to be resorts were empty, but now they are merely semi-empty. Too many folks in the know about that little secret.

As for celebrity sightings, not telling

I have spotted a couple of actors . But since I really don't give a flying ...... about the whole celebrity thing, I couldn't tell you who they are . I have seen them in movies. But I have no idea who they are. Hey I guess, everybody is somebody
The only bands I have heard that are playing are the Beastie Boys at Scary Hoes I mean Harry O's. Other then that I so out of the loop I have no idea whats going on. Well I do know it's snowing and I'm skiing tomorrow!

[sarcasm]See you have to develop a finely honed skill for this. After years of gawking, then your celebo-radar starts to kick in. [/sarcasm]

BTW: I have two tickets to Somebodies @ 5:30PM on 1/25 for sale. See link for details:

I know where Utah is coming from. My 15 years at DV i saw all kinds of movie /tv stars,, just another face in the crowd, stillhad to show the lift pass still put thier pants on one leg at a time. A few are down to earth, others wouldn't give you the time of day. And most CANNOT ski worth beans.
Utah i was just giving ya a bad time. I know that the locals run for the hills during Sundance.

The skiing was excellent this weekend!

What is funny about this time of year is seeing people walking around in the snow and mud looking like they should be in LA with nice shiny leather shoes.

Hey! I've got one- but last year- I met Stacy Peralta- one of the original Z-boys who invented modern skateboarding-that led to half pipes, everything like that. Some of you know who I mean. He made Riding Giants.I worked with his wife on a project so we hooked up to ski together. He's a boarder, of course, so we spent an afternoon ripping groomers at PCMR. I expected Hollywood attitude, man was I wrong. He is the nicest, most humble guy around. Really just a regular person, but actually nicer and more interested in the world around him than most people I meet. Hardly the self-absorbed star at all.

Say, any of you locals know where I can find a country/western singer called Cowboy Jack? He used to play at Bandits B&G on Main Street, but they tell me he isn't there anymore. Just wanted to pick up some more of his CD's when I come out in a couple of weeks. Thanks in advance.
