I have just bought a new pair of Lange world cup 130 boots to replace my comp 120's. I work all day in these boots and would probably want to adjust the stiffness 'down' when I don't actually need it. I was told this is possible by 'removing one of the screws in the back of the boot'
Can anyone help me with more specifics on this?

*Is removing the back (vertically oriented) screws the only option to reduce inherent stiffness in the boot?

*If so is there a difference in degree of effect between removing the top or bottom screw?

*Should I expect that this process will be easily reversable when I want to ski them really 'stiff' (ie can the boot be readily realigned so that the screw can again find its fitting?) or should I expect this to be a one time permanent adjustment?
