Hey, I'm new here and I don't know when this "RealSkier" (which by name is insulting with arrogance) and Epic started. I don't know if Epic guys went over there and started the "fight", if they came here (and they seem to be here in droves) or it started with mutual flaming from afar.
Its all crap. Modern skiing is way too broad a subject for anyone person to pound their chest and say "I'm the source and my way is the only way". Bode has torn down those walls of bravado about technique years ago.
Any coaching group, association or system needs to be egoless and there but for the advancement of the sport and its practioner. "It" (the entity) must always have an open eye and ear to changes and nuances in the sport on every level.
Sure, some of what HH says is valid and some of what is says is the most ridiculous crap I've ever read. That's ok, no doubt people say the same about me and my team, we just choose to handle the criticism differently. Its the tone and the arrogance that destroys anything of value he may have to say and why I don't spend more time reading his views, MA's, and theories.
As I said before, if you can't say it with kindness and genuine affection for the sport, athletes and their individual efforts you aren't helping anyone, including yourself.
Now back to Greg, this was his thread, wasn't it?
Dude, YOU STINK, you are way to hard on your edges, you ski like a bull mastiff or something. Your transition make you look like a rocket going into space and how you ever touch down again is a mystery to me, need I say more I'D KICK YOUR A$$ ON THE RACE COURSE AND SO WOULD DIANA ROGERS AND SHE CHICKED ME
