free flight to anywhere in the USA...Where to ski?

So i have a few vouchers to fly airtran airlines from anywhere to anywhere they fly. They are round trip and i want to use them for some sweet skiing. Im already going to Fernie BC over spring break but i was thinking about colorado. Airtran flys into Denver, Vegas, and many cities out east.

Where should I go? Where should i stay? Where should i Ski? I am compleatly open now and live in wisconsin so anything is better than what i ski here. I want to keep the cost as low as possible and will be flying out of milwaukee. Trip length from 2-5 days.

Anyone know of some deals or places to stay? I have a 3rd voucher that i would even be willing to send someone if they have access to some discounts for me or ill even send you some money! Im a broke college student who is obsessed with skiing and in all honestly, am probably broke because of skiing itself!(its worth it)

Where can i go? i thinking under $200/person total. Is this possible if airfare isnt an issue?

You'd be hard pressed to find lodging for 2 + nts, plus lift tickets, plus transportation to any ski resort from the airport, not to mention food, unless you bring it with you in a cooler for $200. Take a look at the Vail Resorts websites to see what kind of specials they are running. Maybe Copper or Keystone. Take a look at Travelzoo.com or site59.com for last minute specials too. Goodluck.

Don't really think you can keep it <$200, but you can do Summit County on the cheap if you try. But you're probably closer to $400 than $200.

First, don't try to stay right at Copper or Breck or Keystone. Instead, look at the relatively cheap motels in Frisco or Dillon. There's a free bus system, the Summit Stage, that connects all the towns and ski areas, so if you stay in Frisco or Dillon, you can get to Breck, Copper, Keystone, or A-Basin without any travel expense.

You might try the Snowshoe motel in downtown Frisco, or the Alpine Inn right off I70 but about a mile from downtown Frisco. Super8 Motel in Dillon might not be too expensive, and check out some of the other non-chain motels in both towns. You might be able to get a room in February for under $100/night. Talk a buddy into going too and split the cost.

You can get from Denver airport up the the Frisco Transfer Station for $34 each way on the CME shuttle (ridecme.com). That's a savings from the $58 they get to take you directly to a destination. The Alpine Inn is walking distance from the Frisco Transfer Station.

Lift ticket discounts are available at kiosks in the nearby supermarkets (Safeway, City Market), at Pioneer Sports, at Precision Ski & Golf, and many of the other shops in the area.

You could go to Salt Lake, and stay at the Extended Stay or one of the other motels in Midvale/Sandy with a room rate of around $70, and then get the UTA bus up to Snowbird/Alta or Solitude & Brighton.
