Skied from 8am till 11am this morning, less than 30 hours from the end of the torrential rains, and the temperature dropping enough to make snow.

It was great! Not just good - great! I couldn't believe it actually. A few inches of fresh, a few inches of manmade, the veneer was thick enough that the boilerplate underneath barely showed it's ugly blue face.

Skied with the venerable hrstrat who once again demonstrated his beautiful form (and speed!) Good skiing must run in the genes because his daughter seems to be a natural!

Now all we can do is hope the weather forecast for Wednesday is wrong, but I must say, with only a day plus to recover, it's amazing what a smallish hill with good snowmaking and grooming can accomplish.

Yep, kudos to the Crowley's and wa wa team. I don't know how they do it....maybe the fact that they just care so much goes a long way. It was another "epic" day!! Smith Walton was as good as it gets!! NO hesitation at all going after it hard....what a blast!

Skiing with SMJ is such a pleasure. He really ripped it up today....well done!!!

Yeah my 13 yr old is really breaking thru this year....I actually was chasing her a few times today....nothin makes a dad more proud I bought everyone new gear for this season....Mrs and my daughter are both making huge breakthroughs......the new gear is huge....the stuff works. Just gotta get em to trust the technology. I am learning new tricks too...it's just a blast!!!

SMJ we gotta get some more MA/RI bears out there....share the fun a bit ya know??? Let's come up with a plan.....:
