OK, i'm convinced yet again. Skins are a miracle.
I skiied today for the first time in 2 years. I stooged around on greens, getting my balance back and being good. Wearing my Skins, but not really believing they could stave off the DOMS after 2 years of no sport.
Hooked up with my friends before lunch and they were bombing black gradient runs so I joined in of course. Arvo was me shepherding main guest around resort and he liked bombing down steep stuff so I puttered along behind. I did feel the quads working, and worried a bit.
well I've been home for some hours, Skins still on (you need to keep them on), and I feel fine. Normally by now my quads would be hurting to the touch, like bruises, but there's nothing. I feel happily fatigued, and that's that. I skiied from 9.30am til 4pm, no real terrain just groomers and the odd bump, but most of it was packed steepish stuff, and my legs just don't care.
I have NO idea how these things work, but they do.
