If you like Whitetail PA you should enjoy Mt. Snow. It's much bigger of course and, if I remember correctly, has about 100 trails spread out over 270 degrees of the mtn. Vertical is a respectable 1700'. Seemed to me it had a nice view of a lake or river off backside? It has a lot of history, biggest heyday was back in '60s. Like Whitetail it is predominantly a groomers mtn and it can be unpleasantly crowded on weekends due to relative proximity to major northeast population centers. Has tons of intermediate groomers of decent length, but not a lot of serious challenge, hence little talk on this website about it. It can be a little pricey and take following with grain of salt since it's been many years since I've been there; seemed to have a feel similar to Hunter Mtn, NY - busy, impersonal, and lacking strikingly memorable mountain terrain. Believe they recently sold off the Haystack trail pod/area, which provided a more intimate batch of trails with some challenge and less crowds.
Bottom line: for a denizen of the mid-Atlantic it's a big step up in skiing and worth a visit, especially if you have a good deal working :-)
