I picked up some new 142cm Volkl 320 Energy skis (rail system) that came with Marker 1100 LT’s. There were no mounting instructions. The system appears to be simple enough, though. There is one center pin holding the binding system in position and there are indexes on the underside of the binding for moving the system forward and backwards. The only problem is that there are no location markings on the ski to center the boot on. Any idea where this is? I’m mounting boots that have a 295 shell, and if I use this index on the bottom of the front and rear binding and set the plate at 295, the front binding hangs over the rail system. This doesn’t seem right. Any idea where the boot center should be on the ski?

Thanks in advance.
