Forgive me if this is a silly question. While I am not new to skiing (40+ years), I am new to the concept of a "quiver" of skiis. I just snagged a pair of Elan 666 which I understand are "all mountain" skiis, in 168. My current ride is a pair of 6* in 175 which have beat me up for two years. I have also demoed Fischer RX9's and Head 1100, if memory serves. So my experience is limited to carve skiis. Will the Elan's, as all mountain skiis ski differently because they are all mountian and have a particular architecture, and, technique wise, should I approach these differently than the carve skiis I have used. Thanks.
