Lockers at Squaw, Alpine and Heavenly

I assume you can rent lockers at Squaw, Alpine and Heavenly.

1. How much they cost?
2. Are the buildings with the lockers still open during night session skiing?
3. Should I bring my own lock? (I will anyway, just in case)
4. Can the lockers fit a big Atomic SX boot bag (it's well padded and doesn't fold much)? ...wouldn't want to be stuck having to ski with this huge thing!
5. I'll be taking the shuttle from Reno, daily. It'd be torture to wear the ski boots in the bus. Any other suggestions?

(...gee, how cheap can he go asking these questions?)

Thanks.

Squaw and Alpine have lockers. I don't know about Heavenly. Nor do I know how much they cost or how big they are.

Heavenly has lockers too, but I don't remember how much they are. If you take the gondola up, there are some lockers on top. So you don't have to put on your boots until you're at the top.

The lockers are small, take a fist full of quarters. The lockers @ Squaw will not hold a boot bag. Get a cheap gym bag for extra socks street clothes, stiff like that. Carry your boots by the straps, ditch the big boot bag.

Heavenly is a big differnt, the have the new slightly larger lockers with the credit card payment and code entry.

Squaw has large lockers in the basement of the cable car building. I haven't actually seen them, but there is a description at http://www.squaw.com/winter/cablecarlockers.html. Cheap wouldn't be the word to describe these - $16 a day. But it sounds like you could live in one. The lodge has small lockers.

There are also new lockers at the top of the Funitel, but again I haven't really looked at them. There are a couple of hotels at the base (Plump Jack and Red Wolf) - perhaps you could check the ski bag there for the day if it doesn't fit in a locker.

heavenly has good size lockers at gondola and california lodge that pay by c. card and probably cash.
squaw has good size lockers at the cable car.
not sure about alpine.
not sure how much because this is what i do. i wear old tennis shoes and put them on top the lockers and use boot straps. i have yet to have them stolen at many different resorts tried. i carry all else i need in my ski jacket and use as needed.
