Oh, that's nothing to get bent out of shape about. I used my Dad's wooden skiis in the late 70's which were made before I was born. They hang in the rafters as I blew a screwed-in edge out. If you guys are including clothing, I don't think it is fair. I have a ski parka which I still wear that I bought back in the late 70's. I sewed a new two way ski zipper into it by myself recently. I haven't used it skiing yet, though, with the new zipper. I have accumulated so much ski clothing, I haven't found the right conditions for it lately. Back twenty years or so, I sewed a homemade powder skirt into it when I skied out west. It's suited more for conditions there as it is light, nylon and goose-down filled.
