Oops. Sorry for the confusion, that's not a publicly accessible system. It's for Copper's radio system. I just mentioned it to ssh since ski school has access to it.
With regards to the trail phones, there's instructions inside each one for how to report something. On the little side of the mountain we actually direct people to call Timberline Patrol since patrollers will be dispatched from there.
If you ski an area frequently I think it's pretty important to know how to get a hold of dispatch quickly. I'm sure most areas have an easy way to do that. Just in casual work/play skiing I usually end up reporting 2 or 3 minor injuries and 1 major one every year. Last winter we were hanging out in the terrain park and watched a kid on a big hit smash the side of his face in. There's a trail phone there now
