Have a great time on the slopes this season people. While we are sweltering down here all I can do is think about the subzero temps you guys must be enjoying right now.

In Melbourne, Australia the temp has just peaked at 42.6 degrees celcius (almost 110 degrees Fahrenheit) and 2005 was our hottest ever year on record since record keeping began 150 years ago!

Guess that explains our crappy snow season last winter....

It's warm in many snow parts of the US. Warmer than usual.
I don't know what's happening in Europe or Canada, but things are weird here this year.

Canadian Snow conditions

Its hovering near freezing here in Ontario , conditions are alright as the resorts here make snow at night . We had a bout of freezing rain and which set some slopes to granular ice . (ont has hills not mountains)
Not sure how the Rockies are out west , or Quebec .

Did the heat take the sizzle out of the riots, was there a Christmas break , what?
What's going on with all that, now?
