I was skiing last saturday and hit an extremely large bump that I didn't see coming. I promptly spun around and skied fakie for maybe 5 feet before completing a beautiful double eject over my tips. When I collected my skis (my ego is still nowhere to be found) I noticed that a piece was broken off of my binding. At the very front of the heelpiece, there's a black piece of plastic that the brake projects through. That's what broke. Just enough to free one arm of the brake so it wobbles around when my boot's not in the binding. It's annoying, but it doesn't interfere with the workings of the binding. Is this part under warranty? I emailed Dynastar/Look and I'm waiting for a reply. It looks like a fairly simple repair. There are three screws holding the brake and heel platform to the ski, but if they are drilled into the ski, it could be a real bugger. Any help would be appreciated.
