I stop for lunch and buy. I try to avoid the lunch time crowd by eating a few hours later (or earlier) than the most people.
I love to keep some chocolate in my pocket, and eat them on the lift. They get all frozen and krispy, a reminder that I'm outdoors on the slopes, having the time of my life!
I normally run out to the car and grab a cooler full of sandwiches and apples.
When you say they don't allow backpacks at Killington, what size do you mean? Is there a running list of places not allowing them? Would I get kicked off the mountain?

After the one weekend where my friends told me they were told to carry them on the lift....I saw signs saying they had to remove them but no one did & no one made them either.....
