Your post said "for the east." More is not more. Own Mantras for west trips involving serious pow, have tried them once so far in the east out of curiousity. Just OK on groomed, overkill for the limited amount of pow we get back here, and not quick enough, or happy enough on ice for most of our terrain. Skis above 90 mm are designed for getting to the backside of big mountains and wallowing happily. Think about something in the 80's, but at your heft and given the 4-6" of moist pow we sometimes get, I'd suggest something more like Volkl AC4's or AT MOST Elan 777's. B-3's will be too soft for you.
