Phil: I agree. I can't make the 1/6 demo day at Elk, eithr, but Salters has a demo day at Elk on 1/20.

No go for me guys...I will make other plans. Is anyone up for an afternoon of football, pizza and cocktails at my place?

While this weather is sub-optimal to put it nicely, since I'm not getting many chances to get out these days, I may try anyways. Either that, or I'll bring my 3yo daughter out again. She's really getting in to it, although I think she likes the rides up (magic carpet, chair lift) more than the skiing down. Oh well, gotta start somewhere.

I don't know about you guys but both NOAA and Accuweather are calling for snow Saturday night and a high of only 33 on Sunday. I know conditions aren't ideal right now but it looks like they are turning and I definitely need to get some turns in and am still planning on going Sunday. Stop wussing out Phil, this isn't Blue!!

I know its not Blue . But lousy weather all week, loss of base then cold and a little bit of frsh on top of it, doesn't excite me. I was actually looking forward to seeing you and the rest of teh crew more than I was the skiing. But a day at home and cleaning up chores that I have neglected for the past two weeks along with getting my new Mac set up has made me come to the conclusion that I need to "catch up". I will make sure that we can do it another time, maybe 1/22,.

Seeing these new forecasts, I'm tempted to get a few runs in on Sunday. But Phil still owes us some on-snow time with his new helmet cam.

I will 100% be NOT going. My wife took my car (which had my skis in it) up to Vermont. I am gearless in PA.

I agree about the less than great conditions. What they need is four or five days of consisently cold temps to fire up the snow guns and get their base built up again. Blizzboy283, SKI-3PO if you want to meet up, send a PM, I'm thinking of skiing for an hour or two on Sunday, ... mid morning.

Phil they got at least 3 inches today and one more tonight, that's at least 4 total, it shouldn't be bad. It stinks you won't be going and imo its bad to keep your gear in a roof box all of the time. They are thin plastic and could easily be broken into. We all know how much you love the metrons so take better care of them! Hope to ski with you soon.

Sorry. I don;t leave tehm in the box, but put htem in there for my wife to take to VT. Past that, tomorrow in the only day/Saunday that IO can stay at home and do nothing. For the past 4 and the next 5 Sundays..I will have been and will be a road warrior. In the next 5 Sundays, I will have 3 trips to VT, 1 to NY (to see Spamalot) and another to the Pocs for family. I wanted a Sunday home.

I will make sure that we get up skiing together this season.
