I have just one simple resolution: to ski again... someday... hopefully by at least the Fall of 2007.

There is a strong chance that the alignment of my leg to my foot is really screwed up now (off by more than 15 degrees), but we won't know for sure until I start walking again. It has the potential to make trying to ski again very difficult.

I shall post only ski pictures.
I shall post only funny ski pictures.
I shall post only funny ski pictures that are not of me.

2007 Resolutions

1. By the end of this ski season, I will be in the best shape of my life.

2. I will keep my skis sharp, waxed and ready to go immediately after coming home from skiing.

3. I will plan a big ski getaway with friends in late January without much help from janesmom.

2007 Resolutions
1. No new gear in 2007 (its my wife's turn to be a shop-a-holic in 2007).
2. More skidays in 2006/2007 than in 2004, 2005 & 2006 combined.
3. Upgrade ski clothing the off-season.
4. Lose another 25 Lbs by this time next year (for a total of 50lbs since 2005).

Cheers,

Michael

I shall try to ski more backcountry days, especially more mid season days, not just corn harvesting.

I shall try and summon the courage to actually huck something decent sized. Well, since thats not going to happen, at least try to step it up a bit.

I shall not get injured.

1. I will be one of the first 20 people up on the mountain skiing at Snowbird any day there's more than 12" of new snow.
2. On above days, I will ski more untracked powder than anybody else on the hill.
3. I will teach my daughter to ski.

Get back to us on how number 3 affects your ability to do number 1 and 2 - no pun intended...

I will confess
I got better in bumps but have not really excelled in them yet. Getting there, which is a good thing.
I failed miserably with the Catch some air and learn one trick.

This year:
I. Bump for encouragement
II. Get my 360 under my belt!
III. Take at least 2 trips to Colorado to Ski!
I. I will attack the bumps head on, I will be nailing the bumps come april
II. I will not let fear especially the fear that you can do something very easily if you wanted to) stop me from trying new off-piste steeps, trees and pow
III. I will enjoy myself and realize how fortuanate I am to have the ability to ski and realize how amazing it is in the moment.
I will ski more WITH friends and family. As opposed to just being at the hill with them.

I will shoot and edit terrain park video for my son and his friends.

I will ride as many chairs as I can with my daughter and her boyfriend.
1. I will work very hard to develop some semblance of style and grace in my skiing "technique"
2. I will diligently encourage the gf to enjoy skiing more without actually trying to teach her anything
3. I will listen and fairly consider any reasonable advice I'm given even if the advice giver is a complete (**edited due to profanity**)
