It appears to me that Southwest does not participate in any of these fare search apps. At least I haven't found one.

That's my sense too.  Since SW is a major player at RDU, I usually don't bother to check any other airline.  Especially given that changing a flight can be done without penalty.  You just pay the difference in fare, if any.  While I don't do last minute trips, I have extended planned trips to Alta by a day or two to catch a powder storm.

I did a check for RDU-SLC for fun and Jet Blue did come up.  The lowest price was for "Multiple Airlines" and matched up pretty closely with the SW fare.  That's why I wondered.
