Yesterday, I waded through a long thread over there regarding waxing techniques. After that I realized that these people are rather behind the times when it comes to skiing. This would be more due to regional differences and biases than their aged posting regulars. Try making a case that above tree line skiing doesn't cut the mustard compared to New England trail skiing. You'll find yourself banned from the forum. Go over there if you are interested in looking at photos of pregnant women and old bags skiing their back yards. Otherwise, you will find more current data here. It compares to AlpineZone.com which is run by people whose only Alpine experience would be in the Jewish Alps i.e. the Catskills.
