Any instructors at Killington this week?

Anyone up at K-Mart for the ProJam / Master's Academy?

I'm jonesing hard! This is the first time in 13 years I've missed the event. I had to skip it because of the new triplets and because we have some stuff going on at work that I could not have gotten out of.

The weather and conditions look amazing, and it looks like you're in for another 6-12" tomorrow!

If anyone wants to provide any details about the skiing focus for the week and maybe help me get a bit of my fix by providing pictures, I'd be stoked for the insight.

Also, if you want to provide any info on what your group is doing, who your clinic leader is and anything else, it would help this Master's Academy junkie get a bit of a fix from the sidelines.

Thanks!

I am at Killington this week. The snow is fantastic! My focus for this week is L3 teaching. We have a group of 10 really nice folks. I also have the pleasure of skiing with our own BB Epic! Some of these people are all the way from North Carolina.

For the last couple of days we have been focusing on 2 of the 4 modules. Today we did some video and then viewed it at lunch. There was alot of talk on Movement Assesment and we all came away with something to work with.

This afternoon were the optional clinics and I chose to ski with the D-team members. There were about 17 of us with 2 D-team members with us.Jeb Boyd and Neslon Wineguard did a fabulous job. We were in the fast group so let me tell you we were moving. We did a few ripping groomers then moved on to the bumped up run of Superstar. The bumps were nice and soft, some large and some small. Jeb and Nelson just tore it up! We skied that until the lift closed(Thank goodness!)

I am having a great time and meeting lots of new people.

Tomorrow we get back to work on our teaching focus! Gotta put the brain to work!!

Thanks tc. Sounds like you're having a hell of a lot more fun than me right now! Superstar with soft bumps sounds like heaven.

I heard back from TibetanTreeFrog (email) who made the Dev Team last year. He's skiing with Chris Fellowes and having a blast. It seems their focus is balancing into the future.

Hopefully you'll get good snow today/tonight, and not get any sleet or freezing rain. It's gonna be a rush hour from hell this afternoon. Most of the local school systems areound DC are closed for the day, and the sky hasn't started falling yet.
