From most of what I saw on their web site it sounds like Balsam Wilderness is a well patroled resort. A little too pricy but it sounds like they have their act together. Their terrain park excludes skiers. I'm sure snowboarders enjoy getting away from us skiers at times. There is nothing wrong with that. Wouldn't it be great if the resorts had one day a week or even month dedicated to skiers only and boarders only?
Why, who cares what you ride? really who freaking cares? Punks will be punks no matter what they are on, people will act like idiots no matter what, it doesnt matter what they are on. why should a terrain park Exclude skiers? Some good pionts have been made, ski steeper, hairy terrain, who ever is on that terrain is much less likely to "bother" you, I love skiing with good boarders. They actually are creative and are out there to push limits, not rest on their laurels like most gaper alpine skiers. Plus like I said with out the mind of snowboarder, our skis today wouldnt be shaped like they are. If a place like MRG welcomed boarders(blasmphy!!!) I bet the majority that would show up wouldnt be the punks that you speak off. The punks couldnt not board it simply.
Can we jsut stop this debate cause it makes no sense to generalize a group of people jsut because you arent one of them.
