If you do a search on "Krypton", you will see it is a low to med volume boot. It measures, in some areas, lower than a Flexon but the fit is slightly different. You will also notice that the Krypton is in a world of its own for flex pattern. One because of the ribbed tongue (for your pleasure
) but more so for the hinge point of the upper cuff, it is at the actual hinge point of your ankle, not above it, so you will get a smooth, true flex. Many of us here are using "Thermoflex" liners in their Kryptons vs. the stock liner.
