I've got the Dynastar 8000s. Everyone says how great they are in crud, but I'm not seeing it. Some of it may be technique issues (though I loved the Elan M666s in the crud when I demoed them last year) or perhaps my relatively light weight (158). However, I'm wondering if I might see some improvement if I remount the bindings. I believe the mounting point of the 2005/06 8000s are 1.5 cm behind the 04/05, which is what I have. Will moving the bindings enable me to bust through the crud better? And, if I don't like the new mounting position, can the bindings be put back in their original position? Thanks for any input.
