The season has been successful, even with the exceptionally warm Fall. Tall grass was not killed off by frost till recently....and the deer ate very well; they are plump with quite the coat of fat. Started with a 4pt, then two does, a 215 lb 7pt-inside spread 17.5, I'm talking filets off that one, a spike, and another two does. Last hunting day for me is tomorrow. Time to pull stands .....and ski!
