Who skis Copper & Mary Jane (WP) regularly on the weekends?

Skiing with ssh a few weeks ago has convinced me that I need to be spending my days on slope with more skiers and less boarders . So I'm looking for some aggressive all-mountain skiers that have the Copper/WP season pass and usually hit every weekend (with some mid-week play time thrown in for the good snow days).

If you're interested in doing some laps let me know.

Noodler, I have a Rocky Mtn Super Pass, and spend at least one day of the weekend at either place. Would love to hook up.

This Saturday won't work, but why don't you come out to Loveland on Sunday and ski with jgiddyup and myself? See jgiddyup's Meet-On-The-Hill thread about Summit County skiing. Otherwise, I'll PM you next time I head up (which will definitely be the weekend after).

I'm convinced - see you at Loveland on Sunday (I posted in the original thread for this).

I ski MJ all the time with the occasional trip to Copper. After my finals are done on Wed. I will be up at MJ for a month skiing as much as possible.

I'll be at Jane tomorrow and maybe Copper on Sunday. It'll be cold, but the conditions should be great.

Looks like the plan for this weekend is Copper on Saturday and Jane on Sunday. Anyone in?

Jane is at the Jane tomorrow with one of her friends. I'll see if I can persuade the team to change venues, or I'll try to hook up with you on Sunday if I can sneak away.

Alright, let's try this again - Saturday, January 14, 2006 - The fearless three and a half-some will try to make it to Copper for a shot at the NASTAR course before heading out of town for a while.

OK - I could possibly do that, but it all really depends on my ankle (I "tweaked" it a bit last Saturday at Copper). I probably won't be able to make a decision on this until Friday night - if the swelling hasn't gone down by then I won't be able to get my foot in a boot anyhow.

Noodler,
I feel guilty now about forgetting to tell you about the short dropoff and bumps at the bottom of Union Bowl. : If I'd remembered you wouldn't have t-boned that mogul.:

Was a great day though. Heal fast, I owe you a drink!!

Well THAT took all of 3 hours to change. Jane, janesmom and janesfuturesibling are off to Disneyland while I get to fly to Newark. Life; it's what happens while you're trying to figure out how to manage some time off.

No worries - not really your fault (although the warning would have been welcome!). It was my stupidity to go ripping over the dropoff without knowing what was over the edge. I just about NEVER do that if I'm not familiar with the terrain - so I don't know where my head was at.

I have a 1st degree sprain on the inner side ligaments and almost a 2nd degree on the outer side ligaments. What's weird is that I didn't really feel it when it happened, but when I slowed down later that day I noticed that my foot had swelled and then the next morning I was having trouble walking on it.

Today I've got most of my mobility back and I'm working on getting the swelling to go down.

Anyone up for doing Copper or Winter Park tomorrow (Feb. 24th)? My group backed out on our usual Saturday outing.
