With choice between 83mm or 110mm brake. Looks (ha) like last years model.

Picked up my pair at 3am this morning, S&C rocks, I've been looking for these bindings for months (lost 5 ebay auctions for the Look P14's).

wow!! nice deal. Can anybody chime in if there is a problem for me at 140 pounds level 8 skier on this binding. DIN scale says I'm a 6.5 but I pre release all over at that setting so have cranked it up slowly to 8 to keep me in them. Can my 140 pounds use this binding w/out worries?

Very nice deal... must ... not ... pull ... trigger ... (must keep wallet closed).

So my wife asks, "why do you need ANOTHER set of bindings?"

...silly wife.

At this price, I had to pull the trigger.

Now, I've got a "reason" to buy another pair of skis...

Ah, finally the binding answer for my Big Daddys
post #14 of 21

should I buy these?

I just bought a pair of salomon 1080's, just wondering if these would be a decent choice of binding for that ski? I am 160 lbs. and do a lot of back country skiing. Any advice is appreciated.

Yes and no. My kids use Salomon 912Tis on their 1080s which combine for a very light set-up. These bindings will add weight and not be ideal for the terrain park. On the other hand, they will be less likely to prerelease in the backcountry & are a better choice there.

It's Funny how all this "saving money" can get so expensive after a while!

Thanks Rio, do you know how much heavier they are than the 912's ?

How much clearance is suggested in determining wide or regular brake? I have B2's which are 78mm. Would the regular brake have sufficient clearance and even if so what would be the advantage or disadvantage of having the wide brake.
