You were around back then, right Evan? You and Sel make some turns together?

Phil, I'm even older than that bottle of scotch I gave you. BTW, I'll be on the crabgrass at Blue tomorrow, maybe with Finn.

One blessing that day was that there were so many moguls and I was forced to confront. I remember reading about focusing on your path, picking a line down the hill and I did that, rather than scare myself at the overall bumps. And I had fun doing that.

So the day wasn't a total loss. I had a great breakthrough.

I'll probably be there this saturday too.
Two items if you ski Windham regularly or infrequent:
#1. Go to www.Windhamunderground.com and sign up for "Stache's Thursday Night Snow Report"
#2. Look for me and say hello. Fat Instructor with a handlebar mustache.

Can they ski? I never actually watched a movie. Born From Ice sounds good.

I skied Windham, NY. So many people jammed on the few trails open on the mountain. I was wondering why so many instructors were there, too. I guess they were getting certified
With a week of great snow making weather, more slopes are open and the skiing has been good all week. Check the website for updates.

I skied this past weekend at Wachusett in MA.  Although all of the trails were not open there was a lot of terrain that had a lot of snow.  It was rare that I ever would hit even one patch of ice.  I skied from 830 in the morning until 730 at night for my first day of skiing of the year!  Long day...yes.  Bad day...no.  The next day made me feel muscles that were sore that I didnt even know I had.  Not bad for a first day.  It was like riding a bike.  After the first run it all came back to me...Zipping through the turns.  Theres nothing like digging those edges in deep into the snow after almost a year of not skiing.
