The results of the first Lake Louise women's downhill will also be on Skiracing.com soon (presumably). You can see them on the fis website, if you are so inclined.

Oh yeah. I saw that info on the link you provided. I missed the ET. So it's earlier in other time zones. I was trying to give people a reason not to look at the results yet, watch it on TV! Didn't Bode and Daron finish first and second in this event last year? I hope they owned it again today.

These two quotes after the race stood out for me.

I just posted recently about how a pivot is not a wise thing to do at 60 mph. Then Daron goes ahead and pulls one off on the way to a victory.

What is it they say in those golf commercials? Oh, yea. "These guys are good"

“I probably won’t have another opportunity to hit that jump again until next year, so that was definitely worth it.”
I love it. Charging for a WC victory, and he stops to think about catching a little air along the way. The guy does walk to his own beat!

Almost all USA podium.

Miller, Rahlves one, two in GS today. Schlopy fourth, missed the podium by one hundredth. Meanwhile Lindsey Kildow won the DH at Lake Louise. Good day for the home team.

LOL I just logged in to post that in this thread. You'd think that for as long as this guys been doing commentary on WC ski racing he'd know what he's talking about by now.
