carbon fiber ski poles

i'm looking to get these http://cgi.ebay.ca/New-REFLEX-LITESTIK-100-Carbon-Fiber-Ski-Poles-44-inch_W0QQitemZ5232205424QQcategoryZ58129QQssPageNa meZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem but this person also offers 100% graphite poles what is the difference between graphite poles and carbon fiber poles and which is good for all round use.

It looks as though the litestik might be compression molded, i.e. they used pressure to squeeze the CF layers together as the resin set up, getting rid of the excess for a lighter pole.

Roughly similar to Trek's OCLV process vs. mid-80's carbon tubed bikes.

CF/graphite, that part is really a marketing game of which buzzword is au currant.

I like the edge guards: they remind me of ICE USA designs.

PS: If they're the same price, I'd get the compression molded one as probably having fewer internal voids.

au currant? what does that mean: lol is it french??? thers sum really nice k2 ones they weigh about 18.6 ounces and these the xtreme weighs 15 ounces per pair the carbon graphite fiber weighs 14!!! and the litestix also 14 and the airfoil one is also 14 thats 7 ounces per stik!!!! thats awesome but thers 4 choices and i dunno what to choose they all cost the same. sumone plz advise me!!!

heres the brochure to help anyone help me choose lol

looking at the pics on ebay the litestixs look the best and theyre also 14 ounces so i guess i mite go with those.
