Tecnica Diablo Race

I am looking to buy new boots. I am very interested in the Tecnica Diablo Race 130. I would like to ask you one thing. I am thinking of replacing the stnadard liner with a lace-up liner. Anybody tried this setup with the Race Pro? How does the boot fit compared to the original setup? Does the fit change significantly? If yes, what are the differences?
My current boot is the Tecnica XT17. How does the Race Pro hold the foot with the lace-up liner compared to the XT?

Thanks in advance!

I have the race pro with the lace up liner and am also a former owner of the XT-17. I actually never used the race pro with the original liner, so I can't make that comparison. I can say though that the lace up liner works great for me in the race pro, love it! I don't know what the flex ratings are off the top of my head, but I will say the race pro feels a good amount softer flexwise that the XT. Other than that, I love the Race Pro as compared to the XT.

The Z130 Pro by Dolomite is basically a re-designed XT17. I have heard rumors that it is also basically the same as a Pro 130, but I can't confirm that, as I don't know much about Tecnica's current line. I did find it interesting that the boots look identical: if you go to www.snowbizusa and find the Z130 off of the Dolomite page, and also load up http://www.tecnicausa.com/skiing/diablo_series.html
it seems that these are pretty darn similiar, at least in appearance (they both have the velcro spoiler. I wrote a review comparing the Z130 to the XT17 that was recently posted in the "Gear Review" forum, so that may be helpful to you.
