I read in an old school hot dog manual (circa mid eighties) that if you clamp the last two inches of the tail end of a ski, heat the topsheet, not the base, with a heatgun til the ski can be bent, and then pulling on the ski to give it a slightly turned up tail for landing and skiing backwards (what we now call fakie or switch). I am considering this for a pair of k2s or a pair of beta carvs. Any idea how this will affect the triaxially braided k2 or the titanium clad atomics? Any other coments at all? Thanx.
