Lodging location for ESA Snowbird

Would like to know who's staying where for ESA at Snowbird(be specific)? I was originally at the Cliff, but decided to stay over for the gathering immediately following and due to cost constraints am staying in Sandy at the Extended Stay. I'll gladly switch hotels to where the majority of people are staying who will not be on mountain so hence my question. I'll also be available to help with transportation if anyone needs it. Thanks for any info you can provide.

I'm at the Cliff, so sorry about that... I'm hoping we'll get enough snow to close the canyon...

Great scare tacticts Steve! I just switched my reservation to the Inn at Snowbird and will be staying on mountain And for those interested, I was still able to get the ESA rates after the phone agent did some digging in the computer. The Snowbird folks were very helpful.

Good to hear Mk and will be good to meet you. I get in on Saturday and will be staying in SLC that night and skiing somewhere on Sunday although I haven't decided where yet.

We get there on Saturday night too, staying at the Cliff. Will hopefully be on the slopes on the Sunday.

WTFH,

It would be great to ski with you on Sunday if you like, but I would prefer somewhere other than Snowbird/Alta. Solitude maybe and I'll provide transportation? Of course if it's a powder day and there's a possibility of canyon closing then Snowbird will be fine.

jgiddyup,

There's at least four, possibly six at the Cliffe with Fox. We'll have at least one vehicle with us as well. If you don't mind a crowd we could all meet up.

Consider it done Mark! Let's decide on where. I abohr liftlines, but am willing to go with the flow. I suggested Solitude because it's close, but Powder Mountain could be good on a Sunday?

I have no local knowlage of the area or it's ski resorts at all, and am more than willing to let others decide - I'll just trail along.

No problem Marc and I'm willing to go with the flow as well. My reasoning for not skiing Alta/Snowbird is we already have 4 days there for ESA and there's a ton of great skiing in very close proximity to Snowbird so I like a little variety. I understand your group is staying for the gathering also?

I'm rooming together w/ mountaingirl on-site, but I forgot to ask which building we will be in (duh. Whatever it is has a coffeepot, a balcony and a mt view - does that help?

I don't think the Cliff has balconey's Frau, so that puts you in the bottom of the area with the rest of us cellar dwellars

...course if you ski Altabird on Sunday, you may have the opportunity to spy a flock of high-level skiers ripping around the mountain... With some poor dude on a pair of Metron:b5s trying to keep up...
