The website says one lift, with one trail...

Does anyone out there have any more details? Do you think they could add more trails as the day progresses? It might mean the afternoon off for me.

What run?
What website (linky)?
Any website listing Blue Mountain openning?
How about Talisman?

Blue is saying they'll open Dec. 8th - not sure what next week's forecasted warmer temps will do to that plan though.

The website appears to be down right now, but its

www.mslm.on.ca

Horseshoe was also open today, with 2 trails open. Environment Canada is calling for 15-20cm tonight, with another 10cm tomorrow. I wonder if that'll be enough to open more terrain. I guess it depends what kind of base they've got going on man made snow.

I'm going to check out the snow reports and road conditions early tomorrow morning and make my decision from there.

I would love to go up to Talisman, but with the blowing snow the rural roads to get there could be pretty heinous.

Just got back from Mt St Louis.

Conditions were really good, though it was just one trail... the one under the Louis Express Quad. There was virtually no one there... maybe 100 odd people? I imagine if it was the weekend and there were more people there, they could have easily opened up new runs. There was complete coverage on the runs on either side of the one we were skiing.

Too bad we're looking at rain for next week.

Ontario Skiers!!

Nice to see so many Ontarion's on the site.

I usually frequent Blue or sometimes Craigleith (have free places to crash in Collingwood), but would like to give somewhere else a try.

What are the line ups, conditions, runs, vertical (LOL!!!) like at various other hills.

I remember going to Horseshoe in highschool in the early/mid 90's and it seemed really 'pretty' from what I remember. Memory is fuzzy though from too many University nights.
