PM me details of when you're coming in and planning on skiing. I'll check with the guys in the race dept and see what's going on that day/night.

If it snows as much as they say tomorrow I might traverse over and ski it, as long as springsregular doest cut my ticket hehe.

FYI I am planning on skiing tomorrow at springs if my classes get canceled.

Yeah, I saw that today. Dick lied to me Actually, power was off due to hooking up the mains to Southwinde and I suspect that effected snowmaking & the opening of the rest of the back.

You'll beat me to it...that's just not right, at least share the love man. Of course, if this storm hits, I'll hike the SOB for pow turns tomorrow. Maybe I can fanagle a sled ride from the race dept. <EG>

I checked with the race dept crew this morning. We don't have any leagues and very little race activity at night anymore except for the rare renting of time for practice sessions for race clubs or colleges. Most race activity is during the day. As I said, let me know your schedule and I'll find out if anything is going on. If not, SpringsRegular or myself would be glad to show you around while you're here. If you check out www.7springs.com it lists the race shedules for the season, maybe you will be here during a race and we can get you into the gates.

I'm post-call, so I'm going to grab a quick nap and run up there for awhile this afternoon/evening. Same outfit as last year - puke-pinkish jacket, gray pants, white helmet w/ gray flamey things. I can PM my cell if anybody is going to be around and wants to put up with the gape-oid.

Also need to plot-out lessons etc for the kids for this weekend while I'm there.

Frau,

What age? Junior Ski might be the ticket for them. $65 for 4 hours of lessons and lunch included.

Oldest daughter is 13, younger daughter is 9. Both are never-evers. I was debating whether to do a "family private" so I could be there and spend time with them while they learn, or whether I should put them in the age-separated jr ski thing.

I was up there tonight from about 5pm til 8:30 ---Brrrrrrr ---snot-freezing weather! I love the squeaky sound the snow makes when it's that cold though.

"Family lessons" are a really bad idea, please don't. Put them in their own private lessons or the Jr. Ski Program.

Okay, good to know. They are different enough in age that that could be a problem. I'll look into the age appropriate Jr Ski and call up there this week for reservations.

Thanks
